Description: Custom beach cruising trimaran built by Chief, (Steve Isaac of the Everglades Challenge note). Design is by Matt Layden also a renowned adventure racer/cruiser. Built of BS 1088 Okoume plywood sheathed with epoxy, carbon and Kevlar, she is slender robust and unsinkable with her water-tight bulkheads. Trailerable, but expands to 14 feet for cruising. AKA system T 6061 aluminum 3 inch telescoping on Delron bushings pins in place for incredible strength. Wing decks, self-draining slot cockpit, Ida Sailor designed NCAA foil lee board are some of her features. Draws a little under a foot of water. Knot for knot typical speed up to 12 knots. Her rig is fractional roller furling sloop. Mast is a Carbon Forte. Low wetter surface area makes her modest sail area very effective yet low stress. Comes with Magic Tilt trailer with spare attached to tongue, and 2 hp Honda outboard. Placed 3rd in Water tribe class IV sailed by Hal Link.
